People working together to help our community reach its goal

A legacy of doing good. A commitment to doing better.

We’ve used our voice to shine a light on bias through a series of films including the film “Widen the Screen” which gives a glimpse into the black community and culture of the people. As a longtime partner of the United Negro College Fund, we’ve provided financial and volunteer support to the organization for more than 75 years. Our brands are also dedicated to these efforts. My Black Is Beautiful successfully campaigned to redefine the words "Black" and "black" to remove the negative connotations that were associated with the word in the dictionary through their #RedefineBlack effort.

But, now more than ever, more work is needed — especially for Black Americans facing racism.

It’s time to Take On Race.

By establishing the Take On Race Fund, P&G is supporting organizations that fight for justice, advance economic opportunity, enable greater access to education and health care, and make our communities more equitable.

With an initial contribution of $5 million, the fund will support larger, established organizations like the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, YWCA Stand Against Racism and the United Negro College Fund. P&G is also partnering with smaller organizations that mobilize and advocate, such as Courageous Conversation, and groups that hold our elected officials more accountable.

But it’s about much more than money. While we will continue to use our voice to speak up for justice, we invite you to stand up for equality as well.

How you can take a stand against racism

Together, we can make lasting change when we choose to act. Learning and talking about race is an important step to increase our understanding and to create a better world for us all. Here’s how you can get started:

To discover more, visit the Take On Race page as it continues to add resources for education, dialogue and action.

Make your voice heard to make lasting change.

You can help make meaningful change by voting. Every election matters — from the local to the national level. By voting, you can stand up for equality when it comes to schools, transit, housing, public safety and more. Stand up to inequality and take the pledge to vote.
